Internship Program

Build real solutions in small teams. Engineering rigor, not vibe coding.

The real gap

The world needs real problem-solvers

Too many learners stop at prototypes and tutorials. The market does not need another chatbot wrapper or a polished slide deck — it needs people who can take a messy real-world problem, apply AI thoughtfully, and ship a working solution that actually helps someone.

This summer internship is built around exactly that. You will work on practical, real-world problems — not textbook exercises. You will use AI as a lever to understand a domain, design an approach, build the system, and defend your decisions. By the end, you will have shipped something you can explain to a hiring manager, a client, or an investor.

Developer solving real-world problems with AI

What to expect

Engineering rigor meets AI

AI as a tool, not a crutch

You'll learn how to actually use LLMs, RAG, agents, and ML — to design systems, evaluate trade-offs, write tests, and ship features that hold up in production.

Real teams, real rituals

You'll be assigned to a small squad with a mentor. Standups, sprint planning, PR reviews, retros — the workflow you'll use the rest of your career.

Projects with real users

No throwaway tutorials. You'll contribute to a brief from a real client or internal product, scoped to ship inside the cohort.

A squad reviewing system architecture

Teamwork

You'll learn to ship with people, not just code.

Every intern joins a cross-functional squad of 4–5 people for the full eight weeks. You'll plan sprints together, divide work, review each other's PRs, and present demos every Friday. By the end, you'll know what good collaboration actually feels like — and you'll have teammates for life.

  • Weekly sprint planning + Friday demos
  • Pair programming with mentors
  • Async-first communication (Slack, Linear, GitHub)
  • End-of-cohort showcase to real stakeholders

Who you are

Curious & Coachable.

You don't need to be the best in your class — you need to be the kind of person who keeps going when things break, asks better questions next time, and shows up for your team.

  • Student or recent graduate in CS, Software Engineering, IT, IS, MIS, or a related field
  • Comfortable in at least one programming language beyond HTML/CSS
  • Conversational in English (most of our work happens in writing)
  • Genuinely curious about AI — and skeptical enough to test what it claims
  • Willing to commit ~25 hours per week for 8 weeks

"I had my first internship at Frontdreams as a full-stack web developer in 2017, a crucial stepping stone towards my career as a web designer. My time there was exceptional, and the skills I gained proved valuable in my role at Elementor. Mr. Ibrahim served as a wonderful mentor, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him and for the invaluable experiences gained during my time at Frontdreams. I encourage him to keep up the good work!"
